By completing Rufus' questline, players will earn Seahorse Food. This makes the sea creatures even stronger and allows them to swim even faster through the underwater hoops. Seahorse Food is also available for reaching quest milestones, logging in daily, and occasionally can be found and collected around your own city.

As the seahorses swim through the hoops, they will find many treasures. Each time one of the animals reaches the finish line, they will reward players with one of many special Grand Prizes. By advancing in the event, it will be possible to upgrade the special Triumph of the Tides evolution building. Triumph of the Tides grants bonuses to population and culture, and becomes the first evolution building in the game where additional production can be manually toggled.

In addition to the seahorse race, there are a number of episodic quests. This means that the first part of the quests can be completed immediately, while the second part unlocks new quests on a daily basis. For completed quests, players receive valuable milestone rewards.
