Global Game Jam 2017: InnoGames hosted largest Game Jam in Germany
170 participants created 34 new games in 48 hours
InnoGames attracted 170 game makers to its Hamburg offices this past weekend to take part in the Global Game Jam 2017 – breaking its own record and making it the largest of its kind in Germany. 34 playable games were made in only 48 hours – all inspired by the theme: “waves”. The winners – Indie Game studio “Tiny Roar” - presented a multiplayer game based on Unity called “Hula”.
“Hula” is a 1on1 multiplayer experience rooted in the Polynesian mythology. A playful love story about Lono and Laka, the deities for prosperity and rain, who can be called upon by performing the hula dance.
