InnoGames hosts Game Jam in the midst of gamescom
300 participants will develop 75 games in 48 hours
Besides giving access to the Jam, the 50 Euro ticket includes a 3 day gamescom pass (August 17 to 19). Also, InnoGames will provide full catering and a chill out area. The required hardware and sleeping bags, e.g. will be brought by the participants themselves. The winners of this event will be able to showcase their jam games at the awarded Indie Arena Booth in Hall 10.1. Visitors and media will be able to not only have a look at the development process throughout gamescom, but also to test the latest versions of the unfinished games. The event is supported by Intel Corporation and Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungssoftware (BIU).
InnoGames regularly hosts game jams in its Hamburg offices. With about 170 people getting together to code the InnoGames in-house event is the largest of its kind in Germany. Creative exchange and building a team spirit are always at the heart of the game jams.
