Markus Lipp to Become Chief Financial Officer at InnoGames
Industry veteran joins management of free-to-play games company
Starting October 5, Markus Lipp will join game developer InnoGames as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his role he will be responsible for the department’s accounting, controlling, analytics and payment. The 41-year-old follows Armin Busen, who took over the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) in January and acted as provisional CFO until now. Markus Lipp was active in several leading positions at the ProSiebenSat1 Media group since 2004 – including managerial roles at ProSiebenSat1 Games and Seven Games. Until recently, he was the CFO at the 7travel GmbH and the wetter.com GmbH.
Business Economy graduate Lipp is looking forward to his new position: “I am very excited to work at a dynamic and growing company with a young, international team. What is especially attractive to me, is remaining part of the games industry and to help shape its future.”
“As an industry veteran and expert in finances with years of experience, Markus Lipp will be an excellent addition to our management. We are looking forward to having him on board and working with him in the future,” says Hendrik Klindworth, CEO of InnoGames.
