One year of heroic time travel through world history: Heroes of History celebrates its birthday
To mark the first anniversary of the popular genre mix of city builder and hero collection RPG, InnoGames is presenting the game’s 2 million registered players with a birthday package full of goodies.
Listening closely to the player community and continuously delivering exciting new content – that, in a nutshell, is the recipe for success of Hamburg-based game developer InnoGames, known for long-running hits such as Forge of Empires, Elvenar, and Tribal Wars.

...since its worldwide release on Sept. 26, 2024. For the game’s first birthday, however, the development team is digging deep into its coffers once again.
Birthday Activities Overview
- The in-game festivities already took off on Sept. 19 with several warm-up events, among them the “Anniversary Countdown” - a brand-new milestone-type event
- Special Anniversary Season including fresh story elements: All previously exclusive seasonal heroes released in 2025 are returning for this celebration (Sept. 24 – Oct. 21, 2025)
- "Summon of the Stars” leaderboard event: Get additional powerful rewards by obtaining heroes (Sept. 24 – 29)
- Legendary/Double Rate-Up weekend (Sept. 26 – 29), preceded by a week of 24h Hero Rate-Up promotions involving Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, Dracula, Joan of Arc, Achilles, Medusa, and William Wallace (Sept. 19 – 24)
- Special Anniversary sales & exciting free gifts (Sept. 19 – Oct. 6)
