Presents, Snow and “Santa Yeti”: Winter Events in Forge of Empires, Elvenar and Grepolis

InnoGames is starting the winter season with new events in Forge of Empires, Elvenar and Grepolis. The winter event will run from today, December 3rd until January 2nd in Forge of Empires. From December 3rd until January 3rd, the “Winter Magic” event in Elvenar will be all about an amazing winter market. Starting on December 1st already and running until December 31st, Tyches’ Wheel of Fortune event will take place in Grepolis.

Forge of Empires will be offering daily gifts for players throughout the winter event. For the first time, this year every gift that is opened will not only contain the actual content, such as Forge Points or special buildings, for example, but also a match. With a match you can light one to three candles on the festive Winter Tree, respectively. Once the entire Winter Tree has been lit up, players can receive Upgrade Kits, among other things, for the impressive ”Winter Spire”. The building has twelve upgrade levels and yields a large number of different resources. The “Sleigh Builder” and “Charming Cottage” are two further unique buildings that can be unlocked during the winter event. Players can expect an exciting winter in Forge of Empires, as more than 70 quests await. In the winter, Elvenar longingly awaits the arrival of “Santa Yeti”. And where else can you spend the time better than at the magical Winter Market? Humans, Elves and Orcs receive plenty of gifts from “Santa Yeti”, as long as they help him and his goblin helpers. By collecting Snowflakes, candy and festive treats can be purchased on the winter market and used to move “Santa Yeti’s” helpers. During the event, special buildings, including set buildings from the Winter Market Set and Snow Owls Set can be unlocked. Amongst the buildings are elaborately designed winter market booths such as the “Gingerbreadman” or the “Elvenade Booth”. A brand new prize is represented by the “Winter Ferris Wheel” which generates Broken Shards, Knowledge Points, Coin Rain or Supply Windfall depending on the selection. In Grepolis, the Wheel of Fortune of Tyche will spin during the winter event. Every day, players who are good at spinning have the chance to receive rewards such as units, defense bonuses, magic, additional populations or winter crystals. Players can unlock the exclusive hero Perseus with five winter crystals.
