Set Sail with The Forge of Empires Summer Festival

Thursday, September 1, 2022 — Forge of Empires, InnoGames award winning strategic city building game, allows players to create cities that will grow from the stone age through to modern times. In this year’s Summer Festival Players will sail the seven seas, encountering pirates and prizes on their ocean voyage. The event runs from 1st to 21st September this year.

The event is managed by Jane and the Governor of Forge Island, who have several quests that need completing. Players will be rewarded with Gold Doubloons, and these shiny coins can be spent on prize-winning spins of the infamous Wheel of Fortune. Players can select whether to spin for the existing prizes displayed with the wheel, or they can take a gamble and refresh and spin; new prizes will be revealed, but will they be any better than before?

Wheel spins and refreshes are available to all nearby players, lending an additional element of tension to the event. Rewards may disappear thanks to other winners, or the prize pool may reset completely after a refresh, so timing is everything.

Each spin rewards Players with a compass to be used to sail towards treasure troves. Each compass will randomly advance Players one, two, or three nautical miles, taking them closer to a number of rewards, including this year’s Grand Prize - The Privateer's Boathouse.

The Privateer’s Boathouse is a unique building comprising 11 levels, and it has two final stages that Players can select from: The Buccaneer's Boathouse or the Deadman's Boathouse. Both buildings give Happiness, Population, Coins, Medals, Goods, Defense, and Attack, as well as the new Buccaneer's or Deadmen's Bounty; reward chests filled with additional forge points and resources.

With seven seas to sail and an array of prizes, The Summer Festival is the latest in a long line of beautifully designed Events taking place in Forge of Empires.
