Setting Sail: Summer has arrived in Forge of Empires

After boarding the ship and arriving on Forge Island, the local governor will greet players with swashbuckling stories from the past year and offer them a chance to spin the mysterious “Wheel of Fortune.” To spin the wheel, players will need Doubloons, which the governor and the local pirate Jane are happy to provide in exchange for completing tasks. Each spin of the wheel will also give players a compass which will help guide them across the map on a fantastic voyage. Make it to the other side and X marks the spot where the grand prize can be found.

Prizes consist of new summer items as well as some old event items, giving players who didn’t participate in previous events the chance to compete with their neighbors to claim these items. The Crow’s Nest building and upgrade kits from last year’s event are rare rewards on the wheel. New this year is the grand prize of the Governor’s Villa, an upgradable building that provides coins, population and happiness as well as an attack boost for the players’ army. When motivated, it will also generate goods of the current age and additional units every day.

Players can share their progress to their friends and neighbors by winning one of four themed portraits.
