St. Patrick and Battleships: The February Events in Forge of Empires and Grepolis

For St. Patrick's Day in the strategy game Forge of Empires, the players receive a call for help from a neighboring city. A big celebration is to be planned and the players have to help. The task is to help the town's inhabitants prepare for the event. Paddy McCharms is the leader of the festival. So players should listen to him carefully when it comes to creating the best St. Patrick's Day ever.

Players will have to complete quests to earn Pots of Gold. There are a total of 56 quests waiting to be completed. 35 of them are available immediately. The rest will then be unlocked each day of the event. Players will also find the Pots of Gold in the events around their own city and can use them during the event to prepare for the festivities. In the event window, players will see a map of the city.On the left side, you can see the festival, and in the middle, one of the city's factories. Once players click on it, goods can be produced for the festival. Once production is complete, the goods are placed in containers for pickup. Click on the ferry and the goods will be picked up and brought to the festival. Once the ferry arrives, another click unloads the goods and the players earn some Shamrocks.

Players can then use the Shamrocks to improve their factory to produce more goods. They can also improve their ferry and the festival itself. The Pots of Gold can also be used to increase production by two, four, or eight hour intervals. Players can also hire managers for the factory to automate production. In parallel, players complete various tasks. If they solve 25 of them, they win the main prize. The St. Patrick's Day event will take place from February 18 to March 10.

While celebrating in Forge of Empires, the Aegean Battleships return to Grepolis. Enemy ships appear on the horizon. It is the players' task to search for them in the misty seas and destroy them. The coast and your own citizens must be protected. Moreover, sinking enemy ships pleases the gods. Thus, Poseidon will provide players with some unique rewards. Players will have to click on an area of the grid to fire a volley of ammunition at those coordinates. If they aim correctly, they will hit an enemy ship. Some are smaller and only take up one space on the grid, while others are larger and require multiple hits to be completely sunk. The Aegean Battleship event will take place from February 23 to March 9.

Forge of Empires and Grepolis are each available for free via browser on PC and mobile for Android and iOS devices.
