The Mongol Event Begins in Rise of Cultures
Players will need to accomplish the goals assigned by Genghis in order to progress through the event. Huizi – the special event currency – is awarded for completing these tasks, and these provide funds for Khan’s envoys, as they travel in steps from one yurt to another. How far these envoys move depends upon the amount of Huizi each player chooses to give them, and envoys show their gratitude by providing rewards, including a chance to win a Daily Special Reward.
The Mongol Event comes with a new mechanic to reduce bad luck in terms of winning the Daily Special. The envoys can deliver multiple rewards, but as play goes on the chances of obtaining the Daily Special will increase, guaranteeing a great win.
When players complete 30 steps, the Grand Prize is awarded: The Yurt of the Khan Evolution Token. These tokens are used to construct the most important reward of the Mongol event: The Yurt of the Khan. The impressive nomadic palace is an evolving building that gives workers, as well as a random number of Research Points. The Yurt of the Khan can also be upgraded all the way to level 40, with levels one to ten seeing unique changes to the building’s appearance.
As players progress through the questline, they will also receive the services of Genghis Khan himself, as a mercenary commander. This powerful leader can be used in battle to spawn Kheshig Riders – a group of highly specialized archers.
With over 120 quests to complete, plus the occasional Free Currency Quest, Players have a lot to do, and a demanding world leader to satisfy!
